Thanksgiving Kids' Games

SaddleBrooke Softball will sponsor its Thanksgiving Grandkids' Games on Friday, November 26, the day after Thanksgiving at the Softball Complex.

Doug Springer will be the Games Director. Doug will be assisted by Rich Boyer, Paul Buchanan, Bob Chiarello, Claude DuVall, Rick Ervin, Steve Garceau, Debbie Seguin, Rob Seguin, Mark Schauer, Bill Spevak, and Bill Wescoe.

The Games provide grandchildren an opportunity to run, hit and throw a softball as well as to meet new friends and most importantly to burn off some of their excess energy.

The Games feature a program for children up to 12 years of age and a second program for teenagers. At the end of the Games, the kids will enjoy treats of soda, candy and ice cream before returning to their grandparents’ homes.

The teenagers’ program will feature hitting for accuracy and distance. Live pitching will be done by some of the finest pitchers in Arizona. The teenagers will also be served ice cream, soda and candy.

Reservations are not required for the Games. The program for kids 12 and younger starts at 1:00 PM. Teenagers should arrive by 1:45 PM.
