One hundred and twenty one players participated in the SaddleBrooke Senior Softball Association’s (SSSA) 2011 Fall Season that ended December 16. There were 21 teams competing in seven leagues on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays.
In the Monday HomeTeam Pest Defense Recreation League, Catalina Ranch House, managed by George Corrick, finished first with a record of 3-1. Danny Nolan, Handy Man, managed by Janet Jarzembinski, finished second. Central Alarm, managed by Lorne Gale came in second with a 4-2 record. In third was Mercado del Rio Car Wash, managed by Jim Takacs, with a record of 0-5. Vital Moves, managed by Bill Spevak, came in second with a 4-4 record. Farmers Insurance, managed by Rich Adams, came in third with a 2-6 record. Johnston’s Pest Solutions, managed by Steve Fatula, finished with a 2-4 record. SaddleBrooke residents are invited to attend the Saturday Rookie Camp that meets every Saturday at 11:00 AM at the softball field. The Camp is conducted by SSSA players and is offered no cost to SaddleBrooke residents.
